Mimi and Jingles’ Adventures (and Mishaps)
The Highs, Lows and Everything In Between

Hi – it’s Mimi (and Jingles). After almost 30 years in Minnesota, I am currently on an AmeriExit for many reasons. One of them is that life’s too short to not see more of the world. I sold my furniture and car at the end of June 2026 and traded it for a suitcase full of scuba gear and a backpack.
This blog is for family and friends. It’s not a glossy travel brochure. It’s a look at discovery – finding a $225/month homestay on a small island, establishing a daily routine, travel logistics and of course, the inevitable mishaps.
Grab a cup of coffee and explore the latest posts below. I hope you’ll keep in touch!
Love,
Jingles and MImi
